"The Doors" is the first album of the legendary band led by singer Jim Morrison and climbed in 1967 equal to the top of the US charts. Many worship songs are gathered here: "Break On Through", "Alabama Song", "Soul Kitchen" and of course the long version of "Light My Fire" and "The End". The other songs (esp. "The Crystal Ship" with the moving piano solo) are anything but filler but cause a continuously successful, timeless album. "The Doors" is in a way an early "Best of The Doors". Even to get to know "The Doors" is an ideal opener.
