I've never been the biggest fan of Arch Enemy, but with this album they got me off permanently. The super-melodic guitar harmonies are still the showpiece of the band, but thanks to the change at the micro I think now the song again a bit better. The Death Metal-voice of Miss White-Gluz is not radically different, but maybe a little bit higher. The chorus of the strong "Avalanche" It also comes at a first hint of clear vocals. This element will be certainly expanded on the next albums, finally, the new singer significantly variable sound than its predecessor. But that's future-music .... on "Eternal War" there are still some tracks to listen great strings, which again a piece flattering and sound catchy makes the songs as an additional treat. Nevertheless, the still flawless Melodic Death, safe in a relatively commercial, precisely because very catchy variant, but that I've never had a problem. Very, very strong (9/10)
