"Inspired by Dusty Springfield" - is on the cover of this produced by Phil Ramone CD with modernized versions of famous Dusty Springfield songs and one in the rest of the songs well integrated original composition ("Pretend") by Shelby Lynne. Sung with vocal echoes of the great pop diva of the '60s and' orchestrated accentuated pointedly, freed from orchestral pomp of the 60s and reduced to the essentials the songs - all very relaxing and for Dusty fans certainly an equally beautiful and elegant CD such as for fans Shelby Lynne, from which one will hopefully hear more in Germany.
