"The Fugitive" super quality, although I can see in the graphic waveform due to my "experience" the colors "blurred" are. Despite this definitely does not stand out when listening.
"Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2), is on" The Hit Singles "(discogs release ID # 1059453) with DR11; RMS 13.97;. Peak-midnight, so mathematically with better dynamics audible difference not really.
"Der Kommissar" I have compared with my Dutch 12 "vinyl, which DR15; RMS 17:08; 00:00 Peak has:
My Vinyl begins differently, namely equal to the beat and also has twice as much (8) in the intro. Which 12 "was used there? The one on the CD has a long by 5 seconds Outro.
The CD version sounds completely muffled. So here's the 12 "vinyl has clearly won terms of sound.
Well - after comparing the third track - if I'm honest, I personally feel the Extended Mix was - after the "Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2)" also heard of "The Hit Singles" is from the "Original Album Mix "pieced together, which explains, among other things, the same intro and the same color Waveform.
Furthermore, the noise (+ height) was of the dull anyway CD mix further sawed (Tip:. Visits the site of Steve Hoffman and then "Audio Lessons" Point 5 "Noise Reduction" read), which is reflected in the lower still dynamics reflected. The Original Album Mix in "The Hit Singles" has DR11; RMS 13.60; Peak 0:10.
The "booming" at the beginning, where users here my the track was ripped from Blank & Jones by vinyl is wrong with security (what an "Interested Party" earlier also wrote), which is already on the "The Hit Singles" to listen - but probably even then ripped from vinyl. The Bingo Boys could for their '91 remix the original master is no longer muster (not 2-track, even multitrack) (which made me a member personally told).
"Junge Römer" has only one DR 10. The 7 "version on" The Hit Singles "has a DR of 13 was here - no physical Vinyl comparison - definitely".? Erased "Why Furthermore this sounds totally centered to damp and can not keep up with the subtle sound of the 7 "or the John Luongo Mix. A typical Remaster which the club sounds terrible (if you have heard the comparison).
"Machine Burns" to which there is really nothing to complain about. Although the 12 "vinyl sure has more momentum, but due to a logistical problem in my basement I can not find the vinyl unfortunately. ;-)
"Men of the West", well what about the loudness war? ; -.) That is unfortunately very bad and still sounds like other very centrally. The "Wild Jack Mix" on Falco 3 has DR12; RMS 17.90; Peak 3.35 and sounds great.
"Rock Me Amadeus (Salieri Mix)" - here as well as the dynamics was erased. Falco 3: DR13; RMS 16.60; Peak 1:53. Beautifully audible in the left / right compared to the mixer.
"Vienna Calling (Metternich Arrival)". On Falco 3 (US Release) (DR12; RMS 17:41; Peak-2.82) is the intro to about 2.7 longer and this remaster sounds compared to the awful on Falco 3 unfortunately. What happened? Every now and then a few times a crackle suggests Vinyl Rip.
"Vienna Calling (" Vienna Girls' Sax Mix Max) "unfortunately fails again a vinyl compared to my logistics. ;-)
"Wiener blood". The Maxi-CD has DR11; RMS 14:14; Peak 00:40 but despite left / right comparison I could not detect any audible difference.
Conclusion:
For ordinary petrol a recommendation, they are without comparison the differences anyway (all) perceive - only this review will remain in mind. ;-)
DJs it is left even if the CD version - for good Qualtiät of "machine Burns" and "The Fugitive" - or enough like me "slight crackle" of the original 12 "vinyl prefer having much more dynamic.
Falco-collectors buy anyway every release.
btw - for collectors from "Falco 3" intersects the original US release (not US) at all (except for one think I have remembered!) tracks with a better mastering from (more dynamic, less loudness).
Personally, there are of me 2 points deduction: Because being advertised here with an excellent mastering without loudness war, what it -products is partially compared to other (Remaster), but compared to the original versions unfortunately lacks not (dynamic, few tracks at the center, vinyl) - and because of the false 12 "mix of" Der Kommissar ".
