That's not the case here, the remastering is really top notch, and the initial momentum has been fully preserved. The new Mastering sounding much more natural and fuller, less pointed than the original CD and with nice bass. I really have nothing to complain about in this new mastering. Even the CD sounds excellent, and the Blu-ray with the 24-bit / 192kHz stereo track (in addition also in surround, which I do not profitable) still puts up a gear up.
The other CD's of the Deluxe Edition offers an interesting insight into the making of the album. Some of the alternate takes are also very worth listening to. Especially the slow Takes the piece "Glad Tidings" I like very much.
Packaging is also appealing. Overall, highly recommended.
The first side of the original vinyl record with the first five pieces is probably one of the 10 best records pages throughout the rock music.
