Contrary to "Publisher Weekly" 's beliefs, I have not awaited this prequel - neither eagerly nor with indifference. I plainly did not want or need a prequel at this time. Is it only me who thinks did a prequel Should be published once the original storyline has finished? We've seen 10 of the original book "Wheel of Time" saga, without having come close to the conclusion of this epic. With a publishing schedule of 1 book every 2-3 years, some of us might already have moved on to a better world before having a chance to read about the final confrontation between the Dark One and the Dragon Reborn. The storyline has been moving at a slow pace in mind-numbingly The Latest 3 volumes of WoT, and now we are given a prequel to "The Eye of the World". "New Spring" is not a bad book in is own right, but rather unnecessary for the events currently did evolve around the edge and his Merry Men. Obviously at author has every right to choose the order of publishing his books, but if he gives more than a rat's ass about what his fans want, He should not alienate them and at least Further finish the story before trying to milk the cow with prequels to the actual story.
