Since I already knew the previous version (under the name Atek I think sold), now I have ordered at a really low price to me this much improved version. Because I am a professional filmmaker and running with my Sachtler tripod (with quiver 12kg and approximately 30x the price !!) and broadcast cameras (7-8kg) am the way, has surprised me this simple fluid head at this cheap tripod more than positive. It is an ideal alternative for cameras such as the Canon XH-A1. The 7kg professional camera unfortunately the fluid head was overwhelmed, but it is by no means intended for. In expeditions to pack light and lighter camera (up to 2kg) I know of no better geignetes tripod. Some have criticized the many plastic - in which quite identical predecessor tripod I had no problems. Hemispherical shell (unfortunately less than 75mm - not a standard size in the professional sector) and the good fluid head in this price range lonely peak. A friendly Wildlive filmmaker has ordered as an alternative for mountain tours immediately this tripod - he is filming with a Canon HL2 and huge photo-telephoto lenses.
