Slik Pro 700 DX Tripod A really good tripod

After seeing me a Nikon D800, Battery Pack MB-D12 and including the AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm 1: 2.8G ED VR II had risen, was completely clear that my hitherto used stand (simple plastic stand, with a smaller camera perfectly adequate) sufficient in no case longer I would have not even tried to mount above mentioned combination on the old stand.

The price-performance ratio for this tripod can be described as excellent in my view. The tripod can be described for its execution and design as easy, although the absolute weight including tripod head is 3.2 kg. The maximum extension length should be sufficient even for tall people and can be operated easily, smoothly and quickly.

Very pleasant I feel the upper plastic casing of the tripod legs, which feels great and hands but not too far down cools on colder days when you have to move the tripod.
The center column can be described as completely stable and can be secured with a screw and a rotating ring.

The included carrying case is fine and served its purpose.

So, a very strong buy recommendation for the amateur or semi-professional photographers.

Finally, I would now like to go into the supplied tripod head. I have this tripod purchased inklusivem Tripod head and was initially actually quite happy with this Tripod head, although it seemed to me the operation from the beginning a bit awkward.

I have since replaced the original stand-head against a Novoflex Magic Ball 50 and am really totally satisfied with this combination now.
