My problem was that none of the clamps only covered the different sizes of bike frames that I own (the classic steel, modern carbon) and I ended up telling me that the simplest was to place the clip onto the seatpost, which avoided me too tight ... especially when the seatpost is carbon.
Attach the clamp to the seat post will let the front wheel on the ground, which reduces the load on the clamp and lift the rear wheel enough for conventional cleaning (chain, sprockets and chainrings).
Of course, we need your tripod up high enough.
Ask yourself these questions when choosing a tripod: What are your bikes, how will you fix them, what place you have to store the tripod, what routine maintenance should you do?
