I was a passionate tea drinkers looking for a new kettle and came across the Severin. For me, the high power (2200 Watt) and the temperature selection was decisive. The latter simplifies the preparation of green tea.
== Negative struck me ==
Although I had read the criticism of some reviewers here who warned of the unpleasant smell of Severin. Unfortunately smelled the kettle even after two months unpleasant plasticky. Especially with fine aromatic teas that falls from very negative. I also do not understand why this kettle is indeed built a stainless steel exterior, but inside is lined with plastic. The induced to accept the producers had gone there only to appealing design.
== Positive struck me ==
The temperature selection works well (measured it by thermometer), the water is heated quickly. The stainless steel design looks appealing.
== Conclusion ==
Without this plastic odor that is released into the water even after many weeks of Severin would be a top kettle: high performance, practical temperature selection and pretty design. But the plastic taste is a clear disadvantage just for tea drinkers.
