Take the Second concerto by Liszt, but few subtle seductive work. Here is a wonderful interpretation, supported by a pianist who knows where it goes: s''enchaînent episodes with cohesion flawless, the agreement with the chief, pugnacious, is perfect. The first concerto n''est not worse.
Take one of the greatest works that are, the Second Piano Concerto Bartok. However much love and Anda Fricsay, the winds might be acids in the first movement, and the sound unflattering, here are a proud interpretation, idiomatic, tempestuous, with a slow movement (in 14 'min 57' ') which will at the end, and that n''est saying something, of what this music is full of fatal beauty and darkness. Again, the leader and soloist going in the same direction. Simple and touching, the 3rd Bartok concerto takes the same color and reveals a wealth qu''on do not find him to this degree with many interpreters.
