This CD box provides an opportunity to the great Edith Piaf to relive quite different: on a CD is a concert in the Carnegie Hall '57 hear, on the second one from the Paris Olympia '62. Both the typical "live atmosphere", and the reactions of the audience fascinated - especially in the Carnegie Hall, where Edith Piaf explains some songs in English and then also sings. The absolute highlight is the third CD of the private Piaf is heard. She describes her beginnings, from the street singer to international star says and laughs with her friends (M. Rivegauche, Ch. Dumont, G. Moustaki), between excerpts of piano samples in her apartment are heard (including as the first time " No, je ne regrette rien "sings and it tasted also in German (!)). You experience this unique artist of their unknown side - a very humorous woman who attracts a well with their speaking voice immediately under her spell! The only requirement is really good knowledge of French, as Edith Piaf speaks very quickly and sometimes a little indistinct. Overall, an absolutely recommendable CD box that makes great joy repeatedly even after frequent Listen !!
