By choosing again a novel by D. Preston, I knew I was not wrong. T-Rex is designed on the usual author's model: short chapters, fast pace, scientific-detective story, murders, small punch line at the end of each chapter ... In short, it is a very good novel to distracted. Perhaps we would have liked even more surprises and twists (characters who turn their coats, more precise explanation of the alien life form revealed by Venus particles) ... Obviously, it seems unrealistic that our three heroes arrive survive the mad killer, the attack of the drones, the highly trained commandos armed, then a serious helicopter crash while they were wounded, dead tired and completely dehydrated! But hey, it's a novel!
