Pros: lots of POIs (restaurants, hotels, attractions but also pharmacies, ATMs, gas station ... all were found to be up to date during my trip). The mapping was pretty good even without SHIFT. Positive: the GPS signals the approach of schools (Zone where speed is drastically limited in the US and the unyielding police). It avoids a lot of surprises.
The -: GPS does not notified when you borrow some roads reserved exclusively for car sharing co (as in Washington DC for example) .If you follow the GPS guidance and you are alone in the car at rush hour you ca risk argued the wrath of the local police. Fortunately such roads are extremely rare in the US. Another negative point, the price a little high, and pronunciation "French" of the city or road names ... and "Cleveland" becomes "Key ve slow" US Route 41 becomes "usse41" and the street "3rd street" becomes the "main road street street 3" ...
But good overall a good GPS, that will make you great service in town to find your hotel ..
