Supplied the unit with an instruction manual, a quick start guide and with an adapter.
The application is very simple. Depending on your hair and skin type can be based on a table in the instructions for the strength of the light pulses set. You can either trigger the light pulses by pressing a key individually or hold down the button. It glides slowly through the skin. The light pulses are triggered every second. The flashes of light are a little uncomfortable for the eyes ,. Remedy can create a simple sunglasses here.
To save time I turn my Lumea to only keep the button pressed. I have a very fair skin and dark hair. Philips recommends a treatment in 2 weeks apart. Quick wins should not be expected. It takes time to show up first bald spots, so it pays off to stay and not rush to abandon. Good 3 months you should already plan but this is certainly the hair and skin type dependent.
Overall, the whole procedure is somewhat time-consuming, as you previously shave definitely, epilation or should grow. But in view of the fact that this is so only in the early days, as well as the prospect of lasting smooth skin, can accept the good.
Value for money I find very good. Give it a try anyway.
