Either counterfeiting or product quality has decreased.

As another reviewer writes remains always associated with this peeler and peel / grate that goes nowhere near as good as out of hand with our old Turbo Peeler (about 5-10 years ago gifted).

Very unfortunate. Thus, we can unfortunately not replace the old. The work that is still perfectly (despite regular cleaning in the dishwasher) and you can in 10 seconds chasing a whole onion without getting caught again.
With the current, it is unfortunately only as good (or bad) as with various other peelers.
