First, the good:
The power supply is very solid processed and the notebook loads (felt, not measured) as fast as the original. There are no problems with the recognition by the notebook (data pin inside the connector is working). It served its purpose.
Mechanical weaknesses:
These are not as dramatic. As I knew previously from another review here, the connector is slightly too long for the port of the Notebook (metal is visible) and tends to slip out a little to. The cable I find also a little too short (between power supply and notebook) - For the plug-side (between power supply and socket) slightly longer and than the original much smaller plug (Euro plug without protective contacts) I also find handy and I am afraid that is the part to blame for the electrical problems ...
Electrical problems:
Unfortunately, the power supply generates an audible and tactile potential relative to earth ground. When I use headphones on the notebook, I hear a 50Hz hum, which was not audible on the original and which vanishes when I touch the metal parts of the casing of the notebook (I use high-quality in-ear earphones - who uses simple Earbuds, this is likely to not notice). But the distinct is much more unpleasant, because I feel a distinct twinge when touching the metal parts, as long as I am myself grounded. The noticed when I also touched the case of my desktop and my notebook and just happens when I touch the earth pin of the socket. That strikes me as not dangerous and probably this is at least partly to blame the socket, but the original power supply (ground with safety plug) it has collected so that this not had to serve my body.
So Conclusion: It works and I'm glad to have a first power supply, but also I'm glad to be able to replace it soon through an original.
