Calvin Harris have to somehow like: While House and Electro long been part of the (partially monotonous) standard, it sets the genre its very own, eccentric hat on. What strikes at virtually every track how fluent the instrumentalized entrances are linked to the electronic components. The tracks are varied, mainly due to Calvin's typical vocals, as well as those of some guest performers. But the brilliant instrumentalisation as The Rain know to convince. Overall a good album that goes strong in the middle of something and subsides At length again at the end. My highlights are The Rain, Stars Come Out and Flashback, but also the weaker tracks in the center have "Schönhörpotenzial" because I'm quite confident. Therefore, 4 stars for an album without serious defects, the Electropop and House defined autonomously.
