This model here offers clean finish and elegant look in brushed stainless steel. This upgrades the entire bathroom to discreetly because the light shines on the surface and thus something as simple as a shower curtain rod into a real eye-catcher.
At both ends of dampers are mounted hard rubber, both protect the wall from damage or marks, as well as prevent the rod from slipping off (or even crashes).
The assembly is, as can be seen on the product photos, simple and takes just four steps - after sitting the rod bombproof. For perfectionists (like me ;-)) recommended that the assistance of a measuring tape and / or a spirit level to measure and so align the distances from the parallel wall or the ceiling rod at both ends perfectly. Finally, the bubble level to check whether the bar is in the Lot. Done.
The only drawback, which has the rod, is an ugly, white sticker at the end of the pull side, on to the assembly instructions are printed - totally unnecessary. Although the removal of the label works largely without problems, however, the thin adhesive layer does not completely and remains on the rod. Any lint or the like stay there then unfortunately paperboard. Here you have to rework again eg with silicone remover or white spirit, to get rid of the remaining adhesive residue. When in doubt, so do not put the label on it and turn the rod so that it points to the bath side or the ceiling.
From experience, I guess for the sake of appearance from using white shower curtain rings, as these affect the stainless steel surface and the cheaper the overall visual impression is suffering. Rather transparent plastic rings (eg, De-plastic 5230 120 shower curtain rings / 60 x 40 mm / transparent / 24er Set) or equal to matching rings of metal grip (eg Ridder 495500-350 curtain hanger rings with sliding metal, 12 pieces).
PS: If the messenger is a gigantic package at your doors, do not be surprised. You did not accidentally ordered a flatscreen TV - in the box, the bar is inside. ;-)
