The Wage looks real thankfully better than it appears on the screen - The surface is not blue but made of glass and dark blue to black underneath - looks more like, as surface of semiconductor wafers (who knows that), so quite modern and appealing. After inserting the batteries the same time weighed - and was very surpised - 11 kilos less than usual - a little rummage in the enclosed instructions and found error: The Wage does not work on a carpet - you look at the balance of the bottom of that is also clear - So put on the flow and everything good. Without App's but just ne normal Wage - ie displays the weight and that's it - that also advertised BMI, fat analysis, etc. will be displayed only with the app and thus usable - but who calls his own an apple product, which can here Save by app on a nice laid-out surface details also for different people. What is not OK is in my view is the "must" is stored for the registration and probably also the data somewhere in the cloud - What for? (Which are 1 star deduction) The setting is in itself very simple and readily attempt a manual - incidentally just the matching sphygmomanometer - in this combination I find the interaction with the app quite funny and looking forward on the "high-tech" toys. The Wage runs with 4xAAA batteries, which were also the balance settled.
Conclusion: + Visually appealing black blue scales with soft lighting + On several measurements very constant values (which is not at all car so) - so probably reasonably accurate measurement + Easy setup and application in the free app + By other equipment such as sphygmomanometer, etc. quite good representation of health status over time - Without Apple product only Weight measurement - Quite expensive for "just-Wage" - Must-registration
