Needless to say, so that even someone who previously did not make shaver with cleaning station had understood immediately how it works. Basically, the system is designed so that you can not go wrong.
The first charge ...
was of course without the station, because the razor so did not have to be cleaned. For this purpose, you can simply plug it in the cable at the bottom of the shaver. So when traveling you need not necessarily take the station.
Shaving ...
was the first time, of course, unusual because of the massive razor and a little heavier than my predecessor. By black rubberized surface and the good form he is an excellent venue in the hand, allowing the device to slide smoothly over the skin. In terms of thoroughness my personal expectations were fully met, if not exceeded. The first few days it was logically unfamiliar. However, this is at every razor-changing way. If after a few days of the appearance of the new and unfamiliar is gone, but it is clear that the 5070cc definitely causes less irritation than my previous shaver. The free pivoting razor comes with all the problem areas along well and leaves at the end of a velvety soft "baby's bottom" ;-) This is especially true when it fresh leaves the cleaning station!
The cleaning and charging station
served its purpose fully. The shaver smell after not only fresh, but is also disinfected by the alcohol solution and slides back over the skin more beautiful. The cartridge is sufficient according to the manufacturer 30 days. I even clean the shaver usually with a brush and hot water and put it only once every 3-4 days in the station. But again, I wash the shaving head from before since the cartridge does not stop as quickly dirty and correspondingly longer through the stubble. Others who make the same, have complained in the past that the cleaning liquid evaporates over time. Simple trick: open after cleaning and charging the device, wait a few minutes, if necessary to drain residual liquid cartridge entnehmung tightly with the cartridge cover - not wegwefen! So then a cartridge extends significantly longer than the specified 30 days!
Difference between the Braun Series 5 5070cc and 5090cc which:
1. During the 5070cc completely black * is, has the 5090cc to the keys and at the bottom of silver design elements.
2. The battery indicator is only the 5070cc 2-stage, the 5090cc 5-step.
3. the 5070cc has a travel bag with red cord, the 5090cc A travel case with zipper

+ Fast shave
+ More thorough than my old brown (also 5 series)

o no whisper - but which razor has already ;-)
- Black shiny surfaces are somewhat susceptible to scratching
Buy recommendation?
Whether one opts for the 5070cc, or because of small differences compared to slightly more expensive brother 5090cc attacks ... definitely yes!

1. After the two models are now some time on the market, the price for both units has stabilized at +/- 200,00 Euro. On some days the Amazon price for the 5090cc is even lower than in the 5070cc. A price Verleich is worthwhile :-)
2. newer models of 5070cc have seemingly blue design elements if we are to believe the latest product photo on Amazon. Mine was still completely black.
