Too bad you could really make more of it. The single CD offers really what. For the money, because it is chock full of almost 80 minutes in contrast to the double CD version Here you would have for fans and collectors can still some draufpacken rarities and "marginal notes" z. B. "The Only Ones" in the later version with Lucie Silvas (that was also the single version), several B-sides like "Dreamer Girl" (B-side of "Star") and "Mother Earth" (B-side of "Tonight"), many live recordings that have been released as a single-B-sides, remixes different, or even "Be Angeled "and" Set Me Free (Empty Rooms) "(each Jam & Spoon feat. Rea Garvey), Rea's solo song" Hallelujah "and" Walk With Me "from the" barefoot "soundtrack and" Hold Me Now "from" Keinohrhasen " Soundtrack.
With compilations is a chronological order m. E. usually the most sensible, here it is in reverse chronological order, which I think is fine.
The DVD contains 19 video clips and therefore not all (again, missing the other singles from "Dream No. 7", very annoying). There are also 20 concert clips that were recorded / broadcasts for various television stations. Unfortunately, one has but each rausgepickt only certain songs. Why, then, also clips of the 2004 Live 2DVD "Raise Your Hands", the 2007 DVD "Wish Live" and the soon appearing separately DVD "Eleven - Live Casino" are included I do not know. ME would have made more sense to show it more of the TV-concerts, in particular of the early performances.
The packaging is made entirely of cardboard, no Digipak. I find them beautiful, the discs you do not get without scratches but without Fingertatscher out what is a shortcoming of such original packaging forms. Unfortunately, applies here as for most cardboard boxes that would really need it features a sturdy slipcase to achieve longevity.
The FSC logo is printed by the way, no stickers.
The booklet is nicely designed, contains a lot of new photos and all lyrics. The fine print unit as m. E. bit too short. I think it's always nice when things in compilations are also notes of musicians for each song. There is a discography of 5 studio albums (covers and tracklists). All songs is "original versions released on the album ..." what me riddles: What's with the versions included here? Only for "Promise (You & Me) (Extended Version)" and "Josephine (New Version 2010)" is explicitly stated that it is not the original album versions are. The solid title numbering 01-22 is at 2 CDs not necessarily helpful.
Conclusion: Despite all the criticism, the music is good (if you like mainstream rock in the mid-tempo) and do you get a decent value for the price of around 20 Euros. But because of all the described fault I find it already difficult to forgive even 4 stars.
