Rebel Heart (Deluxe Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Oh, Madonna. She has had really great albums, and then in turn Albums who I did not like.

Rebel Heart has indeed become a good thirteenth album, here there really is plenty of choice for everyone, Madonna shows here so abwechsunglsreich like never before. In electronic dance beats follow ballads, which in turn followed by thumping hip-hop beats. Madonna read it do not take, this time equal to undergo several transformations. However, great songs are also partially replaced by annoying and absolutely unnecessary songs, so I'm going as the catastrophic change from mystical electronically tinged Illuminati to intrusive rock bottom of the album, Bitch I'm Madonna, fully not soon forget .. in a bad way!

Nevertheless, the album is full of surprises, songs like Devil Pray, Ghost Town, Joan of Arc infected etc. are really great songs, highlights are so plentiful.

However, one must still say that the idea of bringing several musical genres in one album under one roof is not absolutely new. 2013 Lady Gaga has shown with the (wrongly flopped) artpop how you do it right, to blend in experiementelle way several genres into one great whole. In direct comparison with Rebel Heart I just do not the common thread. Much more is Rebel Heart a collection of many good and some (few) annoying songs, a unified album is somewhat different.

Nevertheless Rebel Heart has become a good record, Madonna appears varied and provocative, but also emotional and even a little self-deprecating. Thus, you can look for the ridiculous predecessors MDNA once again rightly say: Madonna hats still on it!
