In ten chapters, well structured in up to 9 subchapters Matthias Schwaighofer abandons many of his tricks. One will not equal thrown into the deep end. In the first chapter the basic principles of good and successful photographs will be declared as a starting point for further digital processing first time. He is also the basic tips that you can even take a somewhat experienced Photoshopper still good.
In the second chapter then it comes to the tools of Photoshop. SmartFilter, levels and a variety of other tools are explained in detail and help (again) to get an overview. Matthias Schweighofer explains everything very fluently and in his typical, entertaining style.
From Chapter 3 then it goes to the pictures. Starting with simple examples ranging from Produktfotus to character portraits more complex images are generated in the following chapters.
But the DVD is not a purely theoretical course. The complex compositions in the final chapters are easy to recreate and understand the operation of the coach, thanks to the materials available on the DVD. Class I find, that does not stop Matthias Schwaighofer with his digital workflow behind the mountain. By the way one learns a lot about his professionalism and the little tricks that he uses to efficiently and effectively to work.
In summary: The 10 hours of video that are on the DVD and you practice the hours for the rebuild and need are not wasted time. The video training I can only recommend and will do the same thing in my VHS courses Photography. Especially for newcomers to the digital world of Photoshop Komposings a clear recommendation. By the way, even if Matthias Schweighofer works with Photoshop, photographers can work with the little brother Photoshop Elements most exercises anyway imitate without problems.
