The world described by Brandon Sanderson is original and interesting, cleverly mixing political intrigue and religious conflicts, all on a discreet background magic. The adventures of the three characters intertwine to better reach the end. The reader follows with interest their journey twists and dotting.
For his first novel, the author gives us a very entertaining book, taking even, which bored at any time. One can perhaps reproach certain aspects of the book (the Super Princess Sarene side, sometimes simplistic situations or 'good boy', ...) but the fact remains that the player enters an excellent time, what more?
