For this living book, toned and panting (which reminds me of late Philippe Masson), the author shows us on this particular example
the Soviet advance, with its deeds and misdeeds, was not a walkover. The human and professional characteristics
the various protagonists are clearly analyzed with accuracy and honesty.
The book is read in one sitting but beware, the format is small (I thought acquire a "large pad"). It usefully complements the works of
Jean Lopez on the subject.
