Few albums can I so often hear such "Fox" by Elton John. It loses even after the umpteenth hearing none of its brilliance! The sound of this album is as catchy shapes, fresh, simply great - much better than on his other albums because different but typical Elton John. The other day I got my predecessor "21 at 33" from 1980 belongs (in the expectation of hearing a similar album) - far from it and not to be compared with this! In "The Fox" there is no single weak track, but some differences: Most items are relatively fast, exciting and absolutely danceable - nevertheless "Pop at a high level" and not as undemanding "disco hits"! The quiet part actually represent only 3 songs (Nr.6,8,9), one of which is a work of 3 parts (beautiful !!!). As the weakest tracks on this album, I would "Heels Of The Wind" call - of course still completely audible. The title track, which only quite concludes is another highlight of the album: quiet, with a wink, relaxed, but beautiful! The only perhaps known song is probably "Just Like Belgium" I knew already from the radio. So clearly a buy recommendation from me! Unfortunately, unfortunately, this album is little known and has not been "remastered" (which is why the bonus tracks are missing) - but perhaps that is still made up ...
