The first candle that I tried worked perfectly: Unscrew the cap, AA battery pure (Walkman type), with remote control on and off, worked wonderfully. There are three modes: Once enable = gentle flicker, press twice = strongly flickering light, 3 sec hold = without flickering..
As the 40 batteries that I ordered arrived with, I have all the candles provided with a battery. Lo and behold, one after the other turned out to be defective! Overall, 14 of 40 were DOA (dead on arrival), so a failure rate of 35% ... That's very violent.
Just imagine, would have noticed the tree Decorate only on Christmas Eve, it would have been a dark, sad fixed.
I have now complained and will report here how the Jago GmbH behaves so. If the conversion works easily and the replacement delivery also works to 100% it would be OK. But I will report how it has gone.
EDIT: The error rate has increased to 15 from 40, so are now at 37.5% defective candles ...
