Works well, inexpensive and lets you download pictures from your own or a friend's card camera to your iPad. One star off for the invisible Almost slide switch marked "SD / USB" which must be in the right position for it to work - automatic switch over Would Be much better and Avoid Some head scratching qui Was resolved by reading the manual Rather than by examining the device.
