You can tell that Christmas is coming. This day is again filled with best-of albums and live DVD of inclined music fan. Often these are however only compiled carelessly and not really offer something the fan really needs. Whether for a one album (Origin and the EPs except times, eventually you can no longer purchase) already must bring a live DVD on the market, above can be argued, of course. It brings the concert on this DVD then only to slightly more than 60 minutes of playing time. But who is it in itself. The band is in a good mood and also frontwoman Amy Lee is in good voice. You can listen to the songs, of course, for the most part of the successful album "Fallen". Still, there are a cover of Korn song "Thoughtless", which I personally like. But would also not have minded if "Zero" would have been of the Smashing Pumpkins on the DVD, this song have indeed played among others at this year's RAR. With "Farther Away" and "Breath No More" then one gets to hear two outtakes. "Breath No More" I like that there is something better, a dreamy piano ballad. The sound is clear and powerful out of the speakers, I've got nothing to complain about, even to the image can be fully satisfied. Visually, the concert was very appealing staged, the cuts are very well placed and the image was still worked up with interesting effects. A lot of fun to watch in any case the concert, even several times. Otherwise, the DVD contains all previously released music video of Evanescence, who should be well known, yes, but they were often sent to the hießigen music channels. Behind the video stuck interesting concepts ("My Immortal" times excepted) and you can view them quiet often. Besides, who does not like to be the videos of his favorite bands in very good quality on the shelf? Just under 60 minutes Behind the Scenes material are also listed. As its title, you can see the band here in their everyday life on tour and in other kinds of jokes. The maids will have been glad when they saw the devastated showers. In any case, very amusing to watch. So much for the visual part of this double package. Finally, you get even included a CD as a buyer of "Anywhere But Home". This does not differ greatly from the contents of the DVD. Again, the complete concert from Paris is on offer. The sound is very good, the audience is very good to hear, but also does not interfere during the songs. When the last track you can still get the then unreleased "Missing" - a studio version, mind you. I like the song very good, very quiet, but again, Amy excels again with her beautiful voice. We can say nothing about the quality of this compilation, me it was really fun to watch with the DVD and listen to the CD. Whether you absolutely need the CD / DVD, everyone must decide for themselves. It is their money but definitely worth it.
