After losing my system SSD (less than 2 years of life), I returned to the traditional disk. Once received, I could reinstall - difficult - because of software activation keys that some sellers do not want to use 2 times (indeed, difficult to know whether it is a copy or a replacement) but I had 2 times the message that the DD had experienced difficulties and that a repair procedure was in progress (I'm on W 8.1). What a fright! but apparently, everything is back to normal after two inspections of the physical condition of the disc which required several hours each. I almost always bought the WD and I did not have to complain. So what is true today, will probably tomorrow I'll keep you posted as I usually do).
