There it is again: the unmistakable voice of Robert Plant! Him I would not just call the soul of Led Zeppelin, but even as the true heir and guardian of this unique rock music. Sure, the other three band members are not "only" grandiose artists and great skill of their instrument and have given us as a soloist wonderful music, but their music only lives with the voice of this vocal genius. Granted, the music of Robert Plant would be at least twice as good when Jimmy Page guitar and John Paul Jones's bass - unfortunately John Bonham's drum missing anyway - have contributed. But Robert has gathered around him excellent musicians who support his sentimental, self-confident, loud and soft, aggressive and timid voice on begeisterndste and still give her room to without having to be emphasized ever intrusive. This timbre is unique, whereas Freddy Mercury is too smooth, too superficial Mick Jagger and obscene and the other rock singer to vocally interchangeable or even colorless (although I would emphasize that I confessed Beatles, Queen, Stones-, Whitesnake- and ever rock fan am!). Because somehow it sounds, unfortunately, almost all colorless when one has been once captivated by the voice of Robert Plant's. He puts them all just in your pocket! But it's not just the singing, which is supported within the meaning of Led Zeppelin - it's the music that does not try to continue the Hard Rock anyway, but with his cleverly used Tremolo entirely new ground, improvise and jazz structures and proper style Blues, and even brings oriental music, but never too far away from the fixed star Led Zeppelin. This CD is truly a pleasure for Led Zeppelin fans and lovers, but it is also old and new rock fans fun, their taste is open to other styles. Robert Plant mastered halt all facets and ticks all the boxes. And I would frankly attach this opinion to all solo CD's by Robert Plant!
