Evil Friends - a very interesting name by which can be discussed. Nevertheless, the album was a good friend of mine very quickly. With 'Plastic Soldiers' sets the album Los relaxed and calm before we go in 'Creep In A T-shirt' really. A great, rocking track with a touch of self-mockery. With 'Modern Jesus' there are beautiful, trendy tones from the keyboard that go into the ear, packed with a text for reflection. 'Hip Hop Kids' seems to be a small sign that rock 'n' roll is not dead yet! As the band says: 'We do not give a S ***. With 'Sea of Air' and 'Waves' is followed by two rather more restrained songs that not sacrificing beauty. A great contrast to the previous sound, but again, it all fits. With 'Purple Yellow Red and Blue' it is easy in the psychedelic corner - this song is but really absolutely awesome!
A complete package, in which every indie fan will make your day. Portugal. The Man are just fun and manage intelligent lyrics in interesting packaging sounding songs. Who has time to watch a concert should also times on YouTube, for example. The at KEXP, because you realize that this band loves music and the songs sound live almost better. Absolute buy recommendation!
