Speed 3 is so powerful that even a 4-5 meters, the fan blows the table all leaves and packaging placed on it.
The fan itself is very well built, quality feel. And you can use it to speed 1 or 2 instead of the maximum speed probably helps to have a much greater lifespan than a similar quality fan but we must constantly turn background.
For its manufacture, the device is substantially comprised solely of metal, besides the seals, cables, and the fan blades. It has a good reassuring weight. The speeds are changed with 4 buttons to press in the back of the unit (Off - 1 - 2 - 3). No complicated and delicate mechanism. It is simple, functional, and quality.
The device also has a handle for easy transport. It is attached directly to the "backbone" of metal in the back of the device (and not to a brittle plastic part).
The cable from the outlet is 1m80. The unit is 45 cm high and 40 wide. It is therefore reasonable size for the power supplied set. You can tilt the fan forward and back (for the turn, you should reposition the fan but it's normal that).

Edit: After 1 year and 2 summers as it still works perfectly. I would just like added that silence is not so amazing as I thought after comparison with other fan. Indeed it makes less noise than my old wheezy fan. But compared to some models quiet, he still lot of noise. This is not due to engine noise but I think the incredible airflow. I do not change my rating because the sound does not remain a gene for me. And it is still amazing :). But be warned.
