After my old PC graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT8600 had given up the ghost (after only 4 years), I have first to ever to obtain an image, a temporarily extant and old Ati X1600 installed. This was, however, much louder than the Nvidia GT8600 by the fan. The fan had probably already a slight imbalance. Furthermore, Adobe Photoshop disabled with the X1600 at the start the advanced features (GPU etc.). The Windows 7 performance index also fell to 4.2 ... (Aero and Gaming)

Therefore, the ATI Radeon HD5450 order:
+ The PC is estimated on the basis of non-existent graphics card fan only half as loud ...
+ Even after several hours on the monitor ('normal applications', no games), the graphics card temperature is only about 48 degrees Celsius
+ Photoshop graciously also the advanced features again "unlocked" by the new HD5450 ...

Conclusion: For all fit, the gamble no excessive Games. For normal office applications, Photoshop etc. in any case more than enough ... Operate with the new HD5450 graphics card a 23 "-IPS monitor via DVI in combination with Adobe color management and adjusted monitor color profile and there is still almost a full . calibrated color impression of the PC is now also much quieter than the Nvidia GT8600 or ATI X1600 - Recommended!
