With this last album for the label Impulse! pianist McCoy Tyner found his acolytes of the classic John Coltrane Quartet: Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones. The result is not bad, but not nearly as memorable as Thelonious Monk cake (with Oscar Pettiford and Kenny Clarke). We can listen.
