This is a book, apparently for engineering students. It deals with the signal theory fundamentals, such as Fourier transforms, Laplace and transformed into Z. Then there is a whole section on non-deterministic signals with an introduction to probability theory and random variables, Markov chains.
It provided a good accessible introduction to the theory of distributions.
The book can be useful to someone who wants to learn alone.
There are other books on the signals that do not cover exactly the same subjects. Pat example that of Maitine Bergougnioux passing seems to me more time on filtering, but do not address theory last distributions.Ce also an introduction to wavelets that Hervé Reinhard does not address.
Both books are relatively complementary so.
I would focus on the clarity of the introduction to this book distributions theory.
