The HR20 Honeywell was the first noticed the mass market electronic radiator thermostat and has long been a classic among the electronic thermostats for radiators. Currently, three versions are available, the aufgehübschte HR20 style, the technically upgraded HR25 Energy and the herein described new top model named HR30 Comfort +. In addition to the end-user series, there is the HR-40 and HR-80 for heating engineers that can be centrally controlled to some extent by radio.
The HR20 Style is the basic unit and dominated two temperature stages with two switching cycles per weekday.
The middle class device HR25 Energy dominates two temperature stages with three switching cycles per weekday. It also has a larger screen with more information and is thus better to use. The additional Eco mode lowers the room temperature by an additional 3 °, but this is more gimmick.
The top model HR30 Comfort + uses three temperature levels and three switching cycles per week also can be set to the desired temperature to be reached at a certain time - rather than just at this time to change the setpoint. Through three special functions can be deviated from the normal programming with special day, Party (hours) and leave (days). It features a larger again and also backlit and tiltable display with folding mechanism. It can be mounted more easily through a better mechanism. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the function for switching off set with the window open and set the battery indicator on the voltage level of the battery. In addition to the setpoint temperature can now also the actual temperature display.
All three Rondo State are very good electronic thermostats. However, I would refrain in any case, due to the aforementioned advantages of purchasing the HR20 and advised to only slightly more expensive HR25 Energy. Even better is the HR30 with more features and the HR30 makes of processing a wertigeren impression than the HR20 and HR25. Who does not, however, require the additional features of the HR30, which I want to put the HR25 to my heart because it is due to the lower complexity easier to use.
