The speakers are perfectly processed, sonically neutral with clean and powerful bass angenehmmen highs and mids. The efficiency I would call average. The speakers sound best on stands at ear level and at a sufficient distance from walls (approx 40-50cm). But that's for the vast majority bookshelf speakers that. Coupled with a solid amplifier / receiver (with me at the moment a Marantz SR4021) Does that make very high-quality sound, which is likely to be hard to beat if you do not want to take the multiples of the money in the hand. I must say that I own some hobby "affordable" speakers and possessed and the Heco Music Style are among the best thing I come across so far.
My top 4 at the bookshelf speakers up to 250 / couple:
-Kenwood LS-K711 (tuned slightly warm)
-Heco Music Style 200 (neutral tuned)
-Magnat Vector 203 (easily matched analytically)
-Dali Censor 1 (easy abgetimmt analytically and especially for near-wall application recommended)
