Much cheaper than the official accessory, it has done its job. I tested from a shuffle in 2012 to a monitor 27 "Asus Smart TV to a Sony Bravia 42" and to another Smart TV LG 47 ". The picture and sound are transmitted without loss (remember to choose the output setting to HDMI sound or the sound will always be that of the MacBook internal HP). A buy eyes closed.
