I have also brought my XGPS150 for the WiFi-only iPad 3. It works great. Once you have the required app (free) installed it works with various other GPS apps together. I have tried, for example, GPS MotionX for hiking. You can download this app for use at map areas for offline. By XGPS150 in the upper compartment backpack there was no problem with the satellite link. Even the navigation program GPS Nav 2 works seamlessly with the XGPS150. The processing is also solid.
