I have long wondered back and forth whether I should buy myself this little antiquated lens yet, because I've already covered the focal length on several occasions and am just the better light intensity has irritated. In short, it was a very good buy. The lens is very good indeed.
It is:
- Very light and small (fits for Not just in your pocket)
- Very well made
- Solidly built despite plastic
- Dimmed very sharp
- Open useful sharp
- Ideal for highlighting (very nice bokeh)
- Optimal portrait focal length of DX cameras
- Equipped with a good autofocus on eg a Nikon D90 or similar camera.
- Very cheap
