Excellent paired with Western Digital NAS RED

The product interface allows easy management for all. Some knowledge will fully configure the product. The documentation is well done but not provided in hard copy, but you can download it freely on Synology website.

Purchased 397 no better price / quality ratio for a NAS 4 bays as complete (in early 2014)).
A complete 4 hard drives Western Digital NAS specific RED for a sustainable and efficient equipment.
I chose 4 hard drives of 4TB Western Digital in RED (180 each, 3 year warranty by the manufacturer) configured as RAID 10 or 7.2 TB with a total useful anyway 1120 (400 + 4 x 180 )

For financial:

By comparison my old Buffalo 1TB LinkStation 2009-200:

but with no data redundancy (in case of failure all is lost)
