The rate indicated well in gigabit, in practice it depends a lot on the equipment between which you perform your transfers.

The ping through this switch is constant even during heavy transfers. The front LED indicates the type of connectivity (10,100,1000) Mbps.

The metal case is strong and inspires confidence. It has two small buttonhole on the pedestal mounting
