The M2 sounds as a vocal mic should sound: clean, clear, punchy with very fine resolution levels. The frequency response is very straight, linear. Unlike many competing products, no specific frequencies be overemphasized. So you can leave the equalizer quiet first to neutral. The micro responds clearly to distance and angle changes to the mouth, so you can work specifically with the micro. Volume differences are reproduced directly. The microphone is very high quality, for driving nails (which show off the competition in video) should not use it, however: Condenser microphones are generally slightly more sensitive than dynamic microphones and should be treated more carefully.
