The microphone is well made and quite heavy because of the solid body. The microphone is designed to work with a good preamp. On my laptop with on-board sound is disappointed.
What amazes me is the structure-borne sound sensitivity. Each hand touch or wiggle the cable can be heard clearly. This does not fit with a "vocal microphone".
Conclusion: a reasonable sounding microphone for stand-use together with a mixer.
