I run this monitor parallel to the Dell U2711 and have so far not found any problems with my Radeon R9270X. I own the revision A02, when obviously numerous problems the previous series has been fixed.
I can both monitors on and off as desired during operation, also waking from sleep is not a problem. Operation via DisplayPort 1.2 and AMD Eyefinity works without problems.
The color display is truly exceptional, homogeneity and contrast are good. Only the scale could be a bit better in Windows 8.1, because the texts in some applications, are clearly too small easy.
I would buy this monitor at any time.
