Exchange Speedport W504V

The loaner (Telekom) was sent as a replacement unit (the old W504V had to be renewed). Installation and configuration after DSL at the third attempt (!) Was recognized without problems. I have a feeling that the wireless connection has become a little faster.

If it again should not be the case in brief: there was a vulnerability that has been fixed with a firmware update. There are also instructions on how to read out the current firmware version and the firmware update for the type B. In my unit, incidentally, was the 1.36.000 it, seems to be the current latest firmware.

Bin otherwise satisfied with the router. Use the home network incl. Smart TV. Telephony via Splitter (ME for analog telephony [is still available] enough - simultaneously fallback in case of failure of the router).
