The third component is to date my favorite. The story of this couple is exciting from beginning to end and less smooth characters in most sagas. In fact, the author always treats his characters.
Of course, history is based on a lie (a classic spring but is inexhaustible!) Once again, it was an undercover character who lies about his identity. Yes, it is seen again and again but when it is treated it remains a good spring.
I like the way it mixes large and small history. We feel it mastered his subject and you learn things about this little-known period and its protagonists.
As for the love story, it is great, as always, with epic love scenes (one wonders also how she managed to impress us again and again in this area!)
In short, the great Monica!
