I approached this novel with much reserve as I feared yet another Dan Brown revisited. Not at all !. The author, very learned, did a thesis on the stilnovo of Dante and Guido Cavalcanti. This first novel ésotrique allows, under cover of a survey conducted by a young doctor, disciple of Dante, and the daughter of the poet Beatrice sister, put his book on the door of the common man. Let us be clear: it caters more to the readers of Umberto Eco, as those of Dan Brown and contains many passages in Latin and Italian (translated below) that make the investigation a little secondary. But it was brilliant, well written and makes you want to dive back into "The Divine Comedy". For advanced readers. A moment of sharing exciting.
